ACCEPTABLE PLASTICS
We deal with the following types of plastics:
1 PET. Unacceptable.
2 HDPE. Acceptable
3 PVC. Unacceptable
4 LDPE. Acceptable
5 PP. Acceptable
6 PS. Unacceptable
7 Other. Acceptable except for: Polycarbonates, ABS, Nylon, Fiberglass, Formica, PLA.
We will accept contaminated plastics but will compute the weight of the contaminant and increase the cost by the
amount of the contaminant. The exclusion to this is that we will accept petroleum based contaminants at no extra
cost except for oils and greases.
For example if a plastic is selling to us at $.02/Lb and it is contaminated with dirt for an extra weight of 20%, we
will add 20% by dividing the cost by 1-20%, and the cost will be $.025, and we will also add the same formula to
the freight if the price is not a delivered price.
All materials have to be in bales, with plastic strapping preferably, and so that it can be handled with fork lifts.
If we are paying for the freight, we must be able to load at least 40,000 Lbs per trailer load, whether it is an open
or closed trailer.
Water content: we cannot accept any materials where the water content may be over .2%
Bale size: standard 30x42x48” or 30x48x60”
Tare weight will be deducted from the weight of the bale.
